Manchester City Secure Abdukodir Khusanov on Four-and-a-Half-Year Deal

English Premier league side Manchester City have signed Abdukodir Khusanov from Lens on a four-and-a-half-year contract.

The Uzbekistan international defender will join Pep Guardiola’s squad for the remainder of the 2024/25 season, with his deal running through the summer of 2029.

Khusanov, arrived at French side Lens from Belarusian club Energetik-BGU in the summer of 2023 and has quickly emerged as one of Ligue 1’s most exciting young defenders.

He has already earned 18 caps for Uzbekistan and has played a key role in their strong start to World Cup qualifying for 2026.
